Job Description

Come intern with Intel`s IT Infrastructure and Information Security organization. You will be a member of a highly collaborative Agile DevOps delivery team of information security professionals who are responsible for providing best-in-class security capabilities that keep Intel secure and deliver business value to our stakeholders.

We are looking for undergraduate students in their third or fourth year of college who are highly motivated and willing to work part time (20 hours per week) for 6 months and further develop their information security skills. You will partner with Information Security Engineers, Analysts, and Software Developers to help manage security compliance, analyze and remediate security risks, and support key projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Cyber/Information Security, Management Information Systems, Data Science or other science/engineering related field

Knowledge and/or completed coursework in one or more of the following:

• Information security models and concepts
• Cloud Computing and Cloud Security Components
• Information Technology/Security Operations and Service Delivery

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and/or completed coursework in:

• Linux system administration
• IT/Security Systems Engineer/Administrator duties
• Offensive security, ethical hacking, networking skills
• Data science, data analytics, and data visualization/reporting techniques and tools
• Security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
• Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and database (SQL)
• Software development concepts including Agile

Inside this Business Group

Intel`s Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
