Position Overview:
The University of Minnesota, University Data and Institutional Reporting (UDIR) group is seeking a Data Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in helping the university achieve its mission of research, education, and outreach. This position is responsible for designing, building, and delivering data, and reporting solutions for a variety of highly-complex, mission-critical projects within UDIR’s portfolio. This position has a particular focus on student data-related topics including but not limited to enrolled student populations/characteristics, course and curriculum analysis, retention and graduation, pre-enrollment (i.e., admissions, orientation), post-collegiate outcomes, and student finance.
UDIR’s portfolio includes a wide range of data and reporting activities including the production of official data required for the University’s compliance reporting efforts (e.g. IPEDS, NCAA, MN OHE, HLC), related reporting dashboards (e.g. https://idr.umn.edu), decision support for university leadership, ad hoc data requests, and ensuring the integrity of official institutional data.
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000, DOQ
