As part of the Customer & Market Insights team at Chick-fil-A, it is our role to value the Customer and provide meaningful insights that fuel innovation around service, product development, messaging and experience. The role of Lead Data Scientist for CMI is integral in using a limited set of machine learning and advanced modeling approaches to optimize our understanding of Customer behavior in order to optimize Customer satisfaction and sales growth over time. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and research skills, a strong understanding of statistics and statistical modeling, a basic understanding of modern machine learning and its mathematical underpinnings, while possessing moderate programming skills with SQL, R and/or Python. We are looking for a fast learner with a passion for leveraging analytics to extract clear understanding and actionable insights from large data sets. This individual should be comfortable and competent working with partners to understand business problems, work through data challenges, and to convey clear and compelling insights.
