Position Summary
The Data Scientist is responsible for researching, developing, and maintaining statistical and predictive analytics solutions consuming terabyte-scale anonymized banking core datasets within distributed cloud computing environments and libraries. Segmint produces an automated machine learning system combining linear/logistic regression, decision tree and neural network techniques at different phases of the data science lifecycle. Candidates for the role should be experienced in all of these areas- from data preparation/exploration, to feature engineering, model selection/training/tuning, and performance testing/metrics gathering and reporting, and be prepared to develop automation around them. Experience in other areas like natural language processing, cluster analysis, graph analytics, and forecasting are also useful.

• AWS S3, Lambda, Glue, Sagemaker, etc.
• Required Experience
• Masters or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
• 3+ years data science role in banking, financial services industry, risk/fraud, or related
