Job Overview*
As a Data & Reporting Analyst for INTO North America, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with a group of users to gather requirements for operational reports aimed at helping us improve our operational processes. This will include developing reports in Power BI; extracting, manipulating, and analyzing complex data sets from SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Analysis Services, and other data sources; and presenting these findings in a concise and meaningful manner. Due to the specific nature of this project, the ideal candidate would have experience building reports that were specifically aimed at giving insight into improvement opportunities in operational processes. Because the data underlying these reports will be coming from Salesforce, experience working with Salesforce would be an asset.

Key Responsibilities*
This is a valued role in a growing, dynamic organization, so the responsibilities of the position may change over time but will include the following:

  • Work with key stakeholders to translate strategic goals and business requirements into specific technical report requirements and data visualizations
  • Develop and enhance operational reports in Power BI, using data coming out of Salesforce
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained according to business and operational requirements
  • Develop help and training materials, as needed, for new and existing reports
  • Formulate mathematical and statistical models to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets, with a particular eye towards providing insight into operational process improvements
  • Work effectively with stakeholders across multiple global time zones
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience*

  • B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience:
  • Developing efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
  • Building reports in MS Power BI Desktop, including writing complex DAX functions and calculated measures
  • Analyzing data to provide insight into operational process improvement
  • Administering reports in MS Power BI Service, utilizing Apps and/or Workspaces, managing subscriptions and refreshes, and administering user access
  • Connecting with and querying data warehouses in SQL Server Management Studio, cubes in Azure Analysis Services, and other data sources
  • Ability to easily and simply communicate both written and orally with key stakeholders regarding analysis trends and techniques as required
  • Technical knowledge regarding data models, entity relationship diagrams, linked servers, and database design and development
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, SharePoint and Teams
  • Ability to work with and analyze large sets of data
  • Ability to take a business problem and clearly define ways to solve the problem

Desirable: *

  • M.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology or related field
  • Experience in writing Data Quality Rules and exception reports to ensure data integrity
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM

Reporting Line*
This position reports directly to the IT Business Analyst, INTO North America.

Compensation & Benefits*
This is a full-time, exempt position. The position will run from May 2022 through April 2023, with a possible 6-month extension based on performance and needs. The salary range is $78,000 - $82,000, commensurate with experience.

This is a work-from-home position. Ideally, this position would be based in Tampa, FL. Extremely qualified candidates will be considered in the following remote locations: other areas in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC, or West Virginia.

Some travel in the US and internationally may be necessary. Flexibility is required to meet the demands of the position, including occasionally working outside of normal operating hours.
