One of our awesome industry partner companies, Consumer Reports, is looking for a full-time (40hours/week) 6-month (with possible extension) temp Data Scientist. This partner company is a mission-driven, independent, nonprofit member organization that works side-by-side with consumers for truth, transparency, and fairness in the marketplace.

This is a remote role. Pay is $7,500 - $8,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities-

• Guides, directs, and oversees architectural strategy and execution for a program; Has overall responsibility for program architecture vision, strategy, execution, and also alignment at an enterprise level

• Contributes to the product roadmap by partnering with product and business to understand and influence program goals and strategy, and informing on how technology can help achieve them

• Mentors others; Influences and encourages continuous learning and learning paths

• Provides technical leadership and guidance across a broad spectrum with a high degree of latitude

• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data within the organization.

• Excellent consultative and persuasive verbal/written communication skills; Ability to clearly articulate technical ideas, concepts, solutions to non-technical audiences

• Excellent presentation skills and executive delivery; Ability to collaborate with senior leaders

Required Experience / Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working in a Data Science role.

  • Snowflake/ SQL

  • Tableau
