Overview

The Data Analyst will join an AE Strategies team supporting our federal client by analyzing workforce data and identifying workforce trends to produce data visualization dashboards and reports. The support will include working directly with stakeholders, clients, subject matter experts, and policy developers to analyze and predict key workforce metrics. The Data Analyst will support strategic workforce analysis and planning efforts such as creating efficiencies and standardization in how workforce data is aggregated and analyzed. Specific responsibilities include:

• Use both qualitative and quantitative techniques to evaluate and develop workforce measures and transform them into projective analytics.
• Conduct civilian workforce analysis and assessment of Human Capital (HC) programs.
• Establish standard analytics methodology for long term use and helps develop processes and tools.
• Work with the government client and data system owners to document data requirements, understand new data systems, and how they can be integrated together in a common data system.
• Establish and govern a roadmap to include strategic priorities and key milestones for the creation of combined data capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with established data related policies, standards, and roles and responsibilities.

• Master’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; HR data experience is a plus
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools; experience with Databricks, Tableau, R, or Python is preferred
• Experience developing visualization tools, graphs, and PowerPoint presentations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a comprehensive federal background check
• US Citizenship
