The IDEMIA Data team provides actionable data intelligence to drive business and customer decisions. We design and implement secure and flexible solutions that integrate with our SaaS product portfolio. As part of the IDEMIA Data team you will collaborate with experienced and motivated individuals to maintain platform databases, ETL processes, and help solve data utilization challenges. You will have opportunity to provide foundational knowledge as we drive towards cloud native data solutions. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work within a software development team to transform how our customers access critical business data and make decisions. The ideal candidate must have a technical foundation in report/dashboard design, ETL processing, and database administration.


Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):

  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards across Microsoft Reporting Services and AWS Quicksight
  • Design and maintain ETL processes across distributed systems
  • Support the migration of existing SQL Server relational databases to AWS native solutions
  • Maintenan and optimize query performance across our relationship database footprint
  • Work within a data focused development team
  • Collaborate with product and program management to ensure solutions meet customer requirements for data access.
  • Join software engineering development teams to assist with, and consult on, new platform features with a data management mindset.
  • Analyze and Implement data security best practices
  • Implement/Refine strategies for database monitoring.
  • Assist developers with support during business hours
  • Work with peers to assign, prioritize and complete product backlog
Qualifications:

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience developing reports in Microsoft Reporting Services
  • Proven experience designing and managing ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS
  • In-Depth knowledge T-SQL best practices
  • Experience with database monitoring tools for DB health and performance
  • Technical knowledge supporting a relational database
  • Ability and desire to solve new problems with minimal guidance
  • US Citizenship
  • The ability to pass a State or Federal background check
